Robert M. Young Online Writings'Darwin and the Genre of Biography' 66k I was invited to contribute a chapter to a collection challenging the arts/ science divided and was at the time beginning to reflect on the importance of biography as a genre. So I reflected on how Darwin has been served and set this within the context of current debates in Darwin scholarship. This is a companion to my essay on 'Biography as a Basic Discipline in the Human Sciences' and my essay review of Desmond and Moore's Darwin My essay was published in G.
