PSYCHOANALYSIS AND PSYCHOTHERAPY - HOME

The purpose of this web site is to make available writings and other information that are likely to be of use to practitioners, students, scholars and others interested in psychoanalytic and psychodynamic theory and practice and in the academic discipline of Psychoanalytic Studies.

The site contains numerous articles, books, dissertations and reviews and provides links to many other sites with such writings. It also has links to other sites that contain writings and information about courses and opportunities for research and training.

It is the base for the ejournal Free Associations: Psychoanalysis, Groups, Politics, Culture and for an archive of the sixty issues of its print journal predecessor.

The site also hosts the ejournals Kleinian Studies and Human Relations, Authority and Justice (concerned with groups, institutions and society) and their archives. Submissions are invited to these ejournals and should be sent to Robert Young.

The editors welcome submissions to the various parts of the site, especially to the ejournal Free Associations.

The site also plays host to many of the writings of selected authors.

It also offers information about joining various ongoing email discussion forums and web-based egroups in which interested people can follow and take part in discussions about various matters regarding psychoanalysis and psychotherapy.

It also provides access to a London based psychotherapy service.

Please inform the editor of any links which fail to open, so that they can be corrected promptly. Thank you.

This web site is closely affiliated with (and overlaps with) the much more broadly-based one entitled The Human Nature Review at http://www.human-nature.com/, co-edited by Ian Pitchford and Robert M. Young.

Should you wish to show your appreciation of the site and the work that goes into it donations can be made to the Human Nature Trust.

The editor of the Psychoanalysis and Psychotherapy web site is:
Robert M. Young
